This is by far the most rusty bay window that I have seen go down the road. Its scary to think that I flat towed it home.

Lost my camera for a day so that's why bagpipe had to use his phone. If you go back a page the day is updated with pictures. \:D/

That's the plan for now, after the frame is repaired.

There are many surprising things about this bus to me. It had been sitting for many years.

1. Knox went to drag it home from the field prepared with rollers and a tow bar, then he realized all the tires had air (all old bias plys)

2. All it took to get running well was cleaning corrosion off the points and bypassing the fuel pump. Ran real well, surprising for a 34 pict 4 on a singleport with washers. It even idled.

3. There is brake pedal pressure. What?

A mechanic probably owned it. Drove the shit out of it, and only fixed what was important to keep it driving.

Ripped the windshield out the other day to find only 2 very small rust holes under the seal. Great part about the old seal was that I did not even have to cut it.

And got the dash about half way out, the heater controls are keeping it from moving any more. Have to get the patience to work with there rustiness...

And then this happened...

Had a small ball joint and suspension problem, that takes priority over the bay.

Wow I have not posted on here in a long time!

I need some help, does anybody want this? We are about to rip down and replace the building that it is currently stored in, not the one in the picture, and I would like to not have to put it back in a field. I got payed in a 1958 panel a few months ago, so that is taking priority over this.

If you want it shot me an offer, has a clean Wisconsin title only thing missing is a lot of random metal and the rear gate. I will deliver within 400 miles of 53538 for cost of gas.

Any offers yet?

Did you modify anything or cut any metal out? I'm kinda interested. But I don't want a project, I just want a piece of shit that I can drive. So if its not all torn down and just needs mechanical work I'm interested.

How about current pictures?

Pics of the suburban?

The only thing I cut out was the driver side treasure chest door cover (they welded sheet metal over it and I ripped it off to see what was under it) . I'll get some current pictures uploaded Thursday.

Also thinking about it I'll deliver any where in North America for gas money, yes I do have a passport. I really want to go to Alaska, just saying I'll give you a really good deal if you live up there.
