Dont let my wifes smile fool u, she loves me.. and when she got to know me 15 years ago,i had about 15 cars around.. and she knows i dont sell them for her.
she is a pofessional buss driver, she drives big busses all day.. her comment was.. "this buss is so small, like a ordinary car" :-k

And Think about it..she let me build my new garage.. cost untill now.. about 500 000 swedisch kronor = 61373,04 USD sooo she just loves me Smile even if i build crazy car builds..

she wants me to buils a safe car.. so good brakes ar essential.. :-k
My choice is 4 now..Porsche 944 rear alu sving axel_-87 original disk brakes original brake callipers..
front in this version of the build.. Porsche 944 -85 NA with Mercedes E klass 2002 (NOS) strech limosine / ambulance brake callipers.

i started with -79 bay spindels..

Baywindow has the largest diameter master cylinder. 67 bus master is good too.

Its easy to disassemble the master and remove the residual pressure valve.

I think baywindows had an external residual pressure valve. So you may not have to disassemble.

I have done many disc-front and drum-rear brake systems, without any residual pressure valve. As long as the drum brakes are adjusted correctly.

Getting organized is always a positive feeling. Shop is looking good. and so is the bus. =D>
911 operator: What is your emergency ? Me: Some asshole just pulled out in front of me & totaled my car! 911: Are you injured? Me: No. 911: Is the other driver injured ? Me: Not yet....but you should probably send an ambulance.

glad your back on this. its an amazing build and your so right that people don't realise how much thought and testing can go into the smallest bracket. loving the fact its so different from the usual build.

with the front end are you going all out with making it driveable? as you have the a arms suspension and the big calipers are you also fitting a steering rack and servo? I fitted electric power steering last year to my 69 bay and it made it so much better to drive, I already have a arm suspension, discs and steering rack. next job for me is a servo. some people think its too much but I have a problem with my joints and I couldn't comfortably drive it without the upgrades.

anyway keep up the great work, I always enjoy checking your updates
