Yup true story! These yahoos can "do work" but are just a wee bit challenged when it comes to build threads #-o

Had a great session on this Bus......poor girl has had some great hippy repairs in its past life ](*,) I should have taken a pic of the cargo rocker that came out......consisted of 2x4, 1/4" thick angle iron and lots of pop rivets! If you look close you can see the excellent use of structual expanding foam in the cargo doors :-#
3 of us kicked ass on it....teamwork really speeds shit up \:D/ pretty rad to work out of a full sheet metal fab shop, bending up cross members on the monster press brake as we went. Bus will be super solid in no time, we fit half of his scratch built cargo floor, man that thing could hold up a dump truck! originality isn't on top of gregs list here....we used 3" stainless for the heater tube....fuck it they all can't be showcars right? will be a great driver \:D/
I only took 2 pics....first one caught Jrod using johnnys claw hammer for metalwork haha!!

I still have to do the rocker and a ton of welding. It was a hell of a weekend and I defiantly couldn't have got it done without Jarrod and josh. You guys are the best!

Then there's the rocker that came out...

Somebody had a stupid idea to use this bus as a tow rig to haul our newest aquisition home from the mainland....custom muffler smack dab in the way of mounting a hitch the standard way so we took a 20$ Golf hitch cut it up scrounged some scrap tube from around the shop lastnight and came up with this.....

Things like this are the reason my bus is a slow project.

Buddy's girlfriend just bought a place and I figured I'd make one of these as a gift. Holy fuck did I grossly underestimate how long it was going to take.

She's not finished yet. Need to get a "guy" to water jet me a VW emblem for the front as well it needs headlights and tail lights.

Yes it's a gift and no that didn't stop me from testing it.
