headliner in now, then need to finish the carpet.
finish up stereo stuff with heated seat panel.
once that is done i'll pull the 1600 for the 2275 I have for it
slowly but surely coming along
I bought tan rubber matts in the hopes of dying them chocolate brown they came out ok a little blotchy, I may have to use a rubber paint to even them out

Headliner came out great! You may not even notice the blotchiness on the mats when they're installed.

that's my thought as well, once they are on the floor surrounded by the dark carpet it may look ok

since headliner and carpet are being done I am doing a few things to the engine I bought
too many blue and red fittings and stainless lines.
first problem was the empi billet air cleaners, actually a nice piece but di not sit flat and hit the banjo fitting's
milled out a slot so they sit flat, also milled off the empi logo and had them polished.
countersunk the screw hole for allen head bolt and anodized them black.
what I ended up with is just a clean and simple air cleaner, all the stainless hose is being replaces with braided Kevlar.

as far as the screws holding the tops on, I know they have a tendency to vibrate loose I will try blue Loctite and hopefully they stay put

911 operator: What is your emergency ? Me: Some asshole just pulled out in front of me & totaled my car! 911: Are you injured? Me: No. 911: Is the other driver injured ? Me: Not yet....but you should probably send an ambulance.
