Time to FK up this here bus...

Postby dcguy » Wed Jul 09, 2014 1:06 am

As another 'member' said about me. I'm going to throw this down and see what happens to it.

1958 Pressed Bumper 15 Window

There's about 25 of these 'known' and over 930 Barndoors. I've owned 4 BD's but I have yet to actually see a pressed bumper 15 in my life.

Cleaning it up a bit...

Not bad eh?

squareonair; Your bus is sweet! There is a registry of sorts for PB 15 Windows, can I put yours on it? Do you have the first 4 digits of the Vin #?

Cuba; pre October 1958 would have pressed bumpers.

Wren; Thanks!

The back was full of goodies (drop spindles, narrow beam, plates).

Cleaned up the back and was really surprised to find very little rust.

Almost forgot about this thread! I have been super busy this summer, not with bus stuff but with regular life stuff. Spent alot of time travelling, but wherever I go, I seem to find a bus (or two) :)

But winters are long and I have a new shoppe with heat!! :)

Oh sheet busted! I'll update the thread.

I'm going to the Classic (my first one) so there's going to be a little break there. I sold my other 15 Window so I have ALOT of cash for the 23 Window. I can buy good stuff for it, instead of buying second rate stuff.

I'm looking for good disc brakes, transmission, SBL 17's etc and I hope to find them at the Classic/Octo.
