I'm not very good at the filler/sanding/priming thing. But I have some practice and I can't gaurentee it will be straight, but it will be better and less rusty than before (plus it will be running/driving!).

(Also I am open to suggestions, like should I put filler on the whole long side thin coat and sand it down or just do the little bit that I have?)

depends on how nice you want it... it could get better if you spread the whole side... but.. your saying your not too good at it.. it might get worse? :-# :-# :-# :-# :-# :-# :-# One thing is for use.... Spreading and sanding a whole long side sucks balls.... be carefull... :-$ :-$ :-$ :-$

Pretty sure John gets it as straight as possible then runs a super thin coat across the whole long side then gets a big ol long block and sands 98% of it back off again!!! :-k :-k Wink Smile

Well, guess John is posting up same time I am! Smile

I'm going to leave it 'as is', fix the rust and get it as straight as possible with as little filler and see how it turns out. I was going to repaint the whole bus, but I kinda like how it looks now. Just going to paint the exposed bits and get it driving.

More sanding! Looks worse, but IRL looks pretty neato...

Trying to get to the OG paint is pretty hard. The filler is not fun to get off :)

Pictures died.

Hows it going JP? That is a serious bus. Are you going to keep it long enough to enjoy?

I will fix the pics thanks Franz. Yeah, getting old now, I've decided to keep the 15 Window and the Porsches. The rest I am going to sell and if I get lucky again, the only other bus I want is a barndoor. It takes too much effort to fix a bus then turn around and sell it, and in the summer, guess what? NO BUS. Sucks. Not on that train anymore. If I touch it, I'm keeping it.

I got lucky and sold a few buses and bought some a 911's, they're fun to drive, and complete, no work needed, big change from the buses.

This is supposedly a 1 of 25 bus, more rare than any 23 Window/BD, so it's not going anywhere :) KCW has worked on a million rare buses but I don't think they have done up a pressed bumper 15 Window (so here I am repping!). Of course I'm probably wrong a million times over (I usually am). 8-[ =D> =P~
