Dogo, love your bay. It looks killer!!! =D> =D>
I just got a 72 and want to roll 17"s. I read your whole thread. Running 15"should be easier but 17s look best, imo!
Any words of advice?

Yes. Roll 15s Smile
J/K. I can only speak for my project/70 bays and my wheel/tire combo, but I don't think I've done anything differently to roll the 17s than I would have if I was rolling 15s, just everything is tighter.
If you are planning on 17 fuchs, then half your work is done. 17 fuchs are available in your bolt pattern.
In my case the rear wheel is super tight against the fender lip when jacked up, but also the brake kit adds 1/8-1/4 (I forget exactly), per side. I'm assuming your's should be fine with stock brakes and the fender lip being more flared than mine.
If I had to change anything I'd go a little narrower. My beam is 2", I should've gone 4-5". The well is a little deeper past the inner dogleg. Mine occasionally rubs on the inner dogleg. 1-1.5" narrower , per side, should clear it, but too late now. I might narrow it more in the future. The other thing I should've probably done is C notch the rear once everything was apart (assuming you want to go pretty low).
I still want to try and roll 15s in the future. The dogleg rubbing issue would be easier to clear and maybe could run smaller diam tires if I wanted to roll a little lower, and likely a little smoother ride.
If you need any measurements, pics, or whatever, let me know.
Post a pic of the 72!

Here's my 72 She Sitting Way high! I got a wagons West slam bay kit to install soon. I put on the beauty rings and the porta white walls for that classy look until I save up for the 17"s.

Yeah, the previous owner did good work and all I had to do is the finishing touches. Yes 4" narrow beam.

Yes. I don't think there's a bay on the Internet that haven't seen Smile
You going with stock wheels?
Have you seen this one? =P~ Stock width wheels though. Love it. Pretty sure she's cut front and back though. I doubt you're cutting yours.
Are you going wide5?

That's sweet! Too low for me. I will run stock wheel until I can buy the 17" Fuch. I thought about using adapters to run wide 5 but don't like adapters.

I need a small piece (about 13 x 6) of the laminate below. It's the laminate off the tables, spice rack tables and sink cabinet tables on early bay and I'm guessing late split westies? Sort of a linen pattern. I can do with a scrap piece about that size or will consider whole tables if the price is reasonable.
Please let me know if you have anything you'd like to part with. Thx.

He says he going to use it but never does shit.Just wondering if you know? How do the curtains slide on front on drivers and passengers side? Mine have a small track with little plastic sliders?. I need some kind of hooks that clip in in the sliders so they can slide in track? I know it's stock shit but I am new to buses can somebody school me please \:D/ \:D/ :-&

Thanks, appreciate that. Yes, pls let me know.

The curtains... Don't know what kind of sliders you have now, but the sliders that should be there are actually installed on the curtain itself and then slide into the track. There's a tape sewn onto the curtain and specific sliders to fit that kind of tape. See the pics below.
