Thanks, guys.
The fabric isn't cheap, but its not stupid expensive either. I didn't buy the fabric by the yard. I bought the curtains already done from a fellow canuck selling on samba. I think it's like $130 for the whole thing because theres a minor flaw on the slider tape. Hardly worth making them, even for me. I think youd spend more if buying the fabric and other bits alone. I bought two kits, originally thinking of doing the face of the front buckets in the plaid, I'm not so sure I'll be doing that now, but at least have some spare curtains and used the rest for the seat bands on the camper side.
...but that's just me.

The top one I think I've seen, maybe Greg, but not sure. The bottom one I didn't see before, may be Mike's. Where did you find the bottom one?

Ball joints are all sorted out. If you didn't read my tech questions thread, the ball joints were clocked the wrong way and my suspension was bottoming out. Tweaked for a couple of weeks. Higher, lower, top/bottom tube, diff air pressures and three sets of shocks, and I think it's the best it's going to ride with the 17's, which is pretty damn good.

The wife and I went out for a road trip and tried this camping thing, and put the bus back to it's intended use!. I think we did pretty good for non campers and had a great time. We did about 700 clicks and the bus did flawlessly, other than I have a pretty good oil leak, which I had before but just seems a little worse now.
We went a couple of days to Sauble Falls/Beach and then to the Bruce Peninsula, both national/provincial parks. Some pics.

Beautiful area. My Mom lived in Owen Sound for a couple years. Been going there since I was a kid.

I love bay wondow pop tops when they are slammed it looks so sweet. I am trying to score another bus so I can slamm it. I found a bay panel the other day but no call back yet but I am so close to getting a westy like yours that needs a full drivetrain rebuild butt from the looks of your it's worth it. Nice trip what a beautiful swimming hole. Hopefully I make it to Canada in my bus to see it all someday. Like JJ did

Driving my wife to work. The "Disco Queen" costume choice was obvious. Bus added for realism Smile
