Coilovers front/rear, Porsche 993 Turbo brakes, 944 arms, Thing beam, Hiego cage. Bolted to NOS IRS pan.

Wheels are Boxster. 1yr only, special order. Not really feeling them. Your thoughts?

Yeah!!!! Some cool ass shit on that rig! That cage is a trip...thing is gonna be a cornering machine! In my opinion it does need a wheel swap but hard to tell with no fenders? Some cups or old school BBS honeycombs?
What's it getting for a motor?

Bad ass autobahn machine dude! \:D/

I'm about to do the poor person version of this to my early '55 ragtop, for better handling and to use all my 944 stuff. Did you modify the body mounts for the later pan or modify the pan to work with the body?

Looking good.

Yeah, I think you need some $5k+ wheels for a build like that.

The body had mounting brackets installed in the rear wheelwells.

Engine plans were a 2276. But that motor ended up in the bus. So a EFI 2332turbo is planned to be stuffed into this.

No Fuchs!!!

In my stash are 18" BBS LM's, and looking at refinishing a set of 17" BBS e26's as the final wheel choices.

I vote e26s because they're super sweet but still have a little depth to them. Those and the LMs are about my favorite wheels so maybe I'll just sell everything I own and be ready to buy your car when you're finished, haha

Pete, you're such a tease! Smile

Looking good!
Why buy when you can build?
I've spent hours on parts that you can buy for pennies.

^^ 3star Antera's!! Badass. Haven't seen those in years.

I like those RUF's Jobe.

Test fitting 2332 EFI turbo longblock. Had issues with the ARPM case not mating up to the Autocraft trans. Thought it was the trans input shaft bottoming out on the flanged crank. Tossed on my empty case from the blown 2332, it fit with no issues. Tried another trans with the ARPM case, no problem. Seems like the ARPM case and Autocraft trans are of the same size.

^^ #4 pipe interfering with body. Needs to modded.

After test fit, block torn down to freshen up and double check. Eric Madson may know this block. I bought the block less heads(his were no good for street) from Marty Staggs(Enfourcer). Wanted a bulletproof bottom end. Originally built by Mike Fisher of CE, and run in their Altered drag car.
