I believe there are a few more aircooled crazies in the GTA that are Taurus's. May 19th here.

when I saw the title "Men Needed" before barndoor raising was added I was totally prepared to see a picture of the village people after I clicked on it.

Bus looks awesome, even more awesome for $400.
Keep updating when you do stuff. I wanna see.

Killer find dude! Ambitious project, but totally doable. =D>

Lot's of resources here, don't be afraid to ask!

good luck with it,

Alex
Why buy when you can build?
I've spent hours on parts that you can buy for pennies.

No way that I will be missing the JBS swap meet next Saturday!
I will probably bring lots of parts to move & get some cash for this project.

Now that the Birthday celebrating is over, I am back on my track to fix some vdubs.

I got most of the day clear tomorrow 10-5 so I will be working on the BD
Let me know if you are planning to drop by & I will pm you the address.

Nice buy! I wish I could help but I'm 3 days away by car!

This bus looks like part of the Delhi stash. Call up Gerson and get him to send you a frame for it. Or Ken at concept1 can whip you out one in a few days :)

What a day that Sunday was!
I got an early start by myself cleaning the 45 yrs of dirt & rat crap and my son Matthew was the official photographer for the day.

It has some unclear logo

There is nothing left from the frame or supports

I found the interior light plastic cover and the horn button & a bonus to hang on the mirror once the BD is done.

Both sides plastics & electrical lookes in good shape

The engin was replaced with a 53 for some reason
Image
Casey & Steve showed up to help. To bad that the welder didn’t work so good & I couldn’t finish the job that day. We also got a surprise visit from Lanner & Kevin.

I showed them my other vdubs that I have & working on. It sure was a fun day for all!

WOW! I know that the bus looks bad...but I still think its pretty good. You got all of the original parts.

You need to get a complete Gerson chassis like Andre did on the walk-thru Bob Hamond panel. Spend a few weeks connecting the two and wala it'll be done.

Any Idea on how much is a complete Gerson chassis going for?

I was planning to fabricate it all, It looks simple to me & the front and the back of the old frame is still workable.

Haha, I figured Lanner would be there!

Nice BD. We need a welding bus guru up here in the north!
