fast Ed wrote:Ron, do you think those rear tires are going to be OK for clearance at that ride height? I was taking my best guess based on what I could find for sizing info online when I ordered them, but looking at them on the car, it looks like they might be a bit too tight!

Nice to see the car getting the attention it deserves. =D>

cheers
Ed

The ride height is perfect...if anything just lower it another inch and increase the negative camber to make them fit...stance baby!

Lmao!

So I am driving along just fine until...chug.....chug.....chug....both the oil & gen light comes on & it DIES.....coast over to the shoulder....WTF??????......turn it over a couple of time & nothing ](*,) Sit a few minutes and try it again.....nothing.....( left all my tools at home that day mind you #-o ) so on the phone to CAA for a tow.

40 min later to flat bed shows up. I have to say that this guy was great......totally knew what to do with lowered cars =D>

While sitting in the grass safely away from speeding cars a thought pops into my head......did I run out of gas????.......nah there is a 1/4 on the gage.

Image

Arrived home, off loaded and tucked into the garage, that thought of the empty tank popped back into my head......off comes the gas cap and I shine the flash light in to see........EMPTY.....F%@&!!!! I get the lawnmower gas can fill'er up a bit.....crank it over & WHAM!!!!......starts right up.....F@$% do I feel embarrassed #-o #-o

Oh well I guess it could have been much worse...thank goodness it wasn't.

We all had gas pains that day......Josh,Pablo & myself......I don't know about Greg.....depends what he had for dinner that night. :-#

This concludes your laugh of the day!! Smile

THE END.

Hey Ron,

don't be embarrassed, I've been there as well ](*,) In high school I just finished building my Baja I went to go pickup a buddy to go for a cruise. We cruise around for a while, car runs lean for a second then dies. I knew it was out of gas, but the gauge read half a tank and I knew that it had at least half a tank. We fill up the jerry can, add more to the tank, fires right up. Get it home and search for the problem, turns out I'd looped a fuel line under the tank in such a way that it wouldn't allow fuel out past half a tank lol I shortened the line appropriately and all was well lol Live and learn! I'll reveal more of my many, many mistakes as I can relate to them haha
