Envious Aaron! That's like finding gold at the end of the rainbow! All I found were rat carcasses and two pairs of sewing scissors in the heater tube :-&

So I got my battery tray in and secured today , then I got bored and decided my cabin needed a little bling . Polishing is like masturbating with out the climax...

Signal lever case...

Baby steps ....another shitty cell phone pic..
a little fancy footwork with an old momo horn button. Also found a really sweet vintage Stewart Warner voltmeter that works in my parts stash. Will post pics when mounted.

Also if anybody has a lead on a splitty gas tank that is relatively local (I would prefer not to ship)it would be greatly appreciated .

Ok. So actually made some real progress today. Along with more shitty cell phone pics!
Got the front end up on stands.Set the penetrating oil on all associated brake parts that need attention.

Dropped the front pan and stripped it and coated the inside. Outside gets finished tomorrow.

Figured out why my pass side door won't open ... The cracks allow the mechanism to flex instead of move the striker.
Image
Did a little welding (thanks Ron) and some grinding and now I can open my pass door from the outside. This was very exciting. It's not quite up to gonebuggy standards but no one will ever see it.....

Baby steps yesterday. Resealed and installed the steering box, cleaned out my newly acquired gas tank(thanks Casey). Also acquired a nifty locking (and looking)Mercedes Benz gas cap that fits the tank.

As per Canadian rules...... (Yay new cell phone!)
