Way to persevere! As you already know, it's a never ending thing with these buses. BUT there's days when you just hop in, turn the key and DRIVE.

Those days make it all worthwhile :) Plus having an all original paint 21 Window can't hurt tooo much right?

Nice work!

/and agreed about the CB beams. Absolutely not acceptable.

Got the tires on, safari latches on, and redid all the full flow lines in AN/braided Russell.

Cleaning myself up, going for a drive in 5min.

Did like 6kms around the neighborhood and ran out of fuel.

My dad just rescued me with a jerry can.

How much fuel do these tanks hold?

I promise to take pics tomorrow in the daylight. Smile

Wheels back on with the 145 tires, and went for a test drive with my buddy around the block. Drive went well, so we continued to a local Canadian Tire classic car get-together. Got there very late as people were leaving, and managed to break alot of necks rolling in:

Went for some ice cream, drove to Port Credit, and headed home. Speedo shows 90kms driven being spun by those small front tires. Smacked the steering box 4 times, and rubbed a few times on big bumps/dips in the road with 450lbs sitting in the front seats.

Hit the highway tonight. Toronto to Burlington for a get together. Ran well, sitting in the right lane chilling with traffic. Speedo showed 120km/h. I think I was at 100. Need to verify with GPS.

Saw Crazy Hungarian(thanks for the beer), and Glock at the meet.

It was a good night. There should be some pics poping up on vwvortex, I'll post them here.

Paulow must of been the Stonecutters society, some hunting club, or a "Boys Life" magazine collectors meeting; if any women were within 20 feet of it their panties would of been drawn to it with such immense force, they'd be permanently imbedded in the paint...
