Creig's 58 Beetle build

Postby Franz » Wed Nov 18, 2009 7:25 am

Meant to say beetle. Whoops!

One of the driest beetles to ever see KCW. Creigs all into that German look. I think hes going to install aluminum 944 trailing arms, and 944 brakes, on custom offset 16" x 6" steel wheels to get the tires back under the fenders. Let see what he can whip up.

I'm Listen'n to regge this morning Creig. Urban Lovin!

What's the stella color non-the-less? I really like the L70 Medium Brown, it was a 1950 color. Your '58 is dry, got to have a popper color buddy!

Chocolate milk has been our reference to L70, back home. Im painting the 52' deluxe rag we picked up over the summer chocolate milk when i go back for a bit this spring. should look good with the og interior.

This 58 has a super clean body, should be pretty easy to get to the paint stage of the build. Creig has some cool shit planned for this car. I think kind of a German look with an early outlaw racer twist.

I think it's going to be different "in a good way". What do think Creig....you and me rolling our current projects by Spring?? Just remember type 1's are super cheap to build :^o Ha Ha.
