That angle of shot makes it look stock height :-& .......this ones a bit better :-$

Fixed my bent throttle shaft tonight. Was super straight forward repair. I don't know how it happened yet, guessing had the throttle cable too tight? One of the butterflies was leading the other by I don't know .015"? It was uncovering the progression holes just a little before the other. You could see it on the sync tool between the 2 cylinders on that carb. Broke it down then put the butterflies back in the shaft....you could hold it up and eyeball the blades then carefully twist the shaft gripping the flats of threads with 2 crescent wrenches. Used a flat edge and a flashlight to fine tune. All back together and reinstalled.

Lovin the pics but,dude......enough of our beautiful BC backdrop. You've already invited the top dogs from Colorado to our northern heaven. Enough already.
And your carb "how to" is not coming fast enough.

It's funny...guess I haven't been posting up much progress on my shit.....been getting texts randomly from buddies asking what's going on in tripleJ land? Haha \:D/

Went to a swap last week, got drunk, bought some shit then cut apart a bush buggy with oxy/aced torch built on a 56 pan so we could buy the pan head for the vert; also got a big mouth tank and 2 caps off him....the sunburst version made its way onto my 55 after a polish Wink

Jarod scored this nos Canadian fender badge for 35$ =D>

We had a fundraiser cruise today....car got some by love, white lettering I did the night before the big debut last year lasted half way through the UltraVW shoot and started peeling off fronts....think maybe I didn't scrub the tire with laquor thinner enough and had some armoral on, didn't take! Spent 3 hrs lastnight hand brushing all 4 again ](*,)
