You're right pat those ratchet straps gotta go!!

Loving it every time I get behind the wheel of this beast! Gas cap was totally un nessesary but I liked it....gonna keep making it better \:D/
Just because a car is driving doesn't mean the threads gotta die right? [-X

One of the things that I ran out of time to do was sort out a shift light for the tach.....I have the standard sniper scope type that hangs off the monster tach but I wanted to keep things streamlined. Designing a hidden one to mount to the speaker delete plate and shine through the grill so will only be noticeable when it lights up. I probably could have bought something that would have been able to work but where's the challenge in that? [-X
I took a super bright LED headlamp gutted it, had an electronics friend design a little circuit to reduce the 12volts (13.7 actually) to run it instead of the 3 AAA's and make it strobe too :-" I made a cool aluminum housing on the lathe and mill but after seeing the circuit card he made I need one a C hair bigger....fuck, there goes 4 hours of my life ](*,)

I'll post some more pics when I progress some more....lens I got is a real glass prism from a 40's piece of electronic test equip....pretty neat! Should grab the eye even shining through the speaker grill \:D/

Was never super happy with the bumpers on my car....they second hand WW repops that the chrome is less than stellar on....don't match the rest of car :-& I don't have 3k to re chrome them so descided to make my own T-bars. Round and hex have been done a million times.....I couldn't put empi ones on :-# been eyeballing this extruded aluminum that was in the rack....Jrod dumpster dove it way back when he was involved in building the infamous "fastcat" ferry flop. It was used on the front windshields of the boat. I ripped about half inch off the sides, belt sanded flat and had Jrod TIG them together forming an oval kinda. Much hand shaping and sanding then welded some caps on....more grinding, buffing making welds disappear

Haven't got em welded to the brackets yet, wanted to mock em up to make sure liked angles first. I made them hug the body more than the store bought ones. I think I might radius the points down a bit? What do you mutherfuckkkkkers think?????? :-k :-k :-k

I think you should trim the top and bottom of the verticals so they are the same angle as the horizontal bracket part. I like them though!

Haha no sorrys needed bro it's why I posted and asked the question.....I'm not loving them yet :-#
I do like the euro bumper look but the hazy chrome really bugs me. ](*,)

When we were throwing ideas around Jrod came up with an idea of making them look like kdf banana guards :-k I think I'm gonna take down the sharp points on these ones.
