I think I'm right in saying that this thing hasn't been touched in 3 or 4 years.

Holy crap!

Aaron was talking about getting his bug back on the road at the swap.

I've never seen it in person, but remember from pics that it did make an appearance at Grand Bend.

Where/what show was this? I wasn't able to make it anyway, but just curious.

Spring Fling at the Hansa Haus (German Cultural Centre) on Hurontario just north of the 401.
Was on Sunday from 11 to 4.
Huge turnout...but not so much air-cooled.
Colin was there with his Fasty, Lanner with his low-light Ghia and one of his buddy's with a black 70 or 71 Ghia with 2332 FI blow through turbo motor and another fellow with his 69 Bug.
Notable absences included Rob's 63 (I think) and Josh's 60...but June Jitter Bug is on the 26th, so they both have a chance to redeem themselves Smile

THAT was spring fling? I knew about this show, but what threw me off was seeing such a big turn out. Nice.
Time's tight for me lately (specially weekends) but let me know when/if you guys get together (although Lanner does a good job at that)
Going to try my best to make it JJB [-o<

Your car always looks awesome, BTW. One of my favs.
...but that's just me.

I resemble that project ! However I have just purchased a new project so the super may be on the back burner or possibly for sale. Hopefully back burner!

with the sunroof I could hear the wind noise the rack and items created...with those removed and the sunroof closed I could actually PASS people on the highway O:)

Wish I could have hit the Barrie show today but I was stuck helping my old man with the addition on his house. :-({|=

Car is in London in storage for the winter....so I'm working on some other German metal....doing my best attempt at a KCW style floor pan replacement on this car

Here's the specimen in question

I miss working on the bug...but at the same time I'm enjoying the experience of working on something different.
