It has a top... I'll have to mount it and check it out..

Looks like everything is pretty much there to make this a floater... [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< and hopefully and driver.. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

I'm cleaning things out, going to strip that dash down and start there.. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ I think it has been awhile since this girl got much love.. Frown

I'm thinking no windsheild.. that just looks like wind resistance to me.. Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink
We were worrie about how tall it is.. as in.. how far into the water I would have to back my bus before the boat would start floating.. but it looks to me like the problem wil be solved after I get the original size tires and wheels under it.. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

John, get a clamp on ball that you can put on the front bumper. Easier to maneuver, and not have to worry about dunking the engine on accident. Just carry the ball in the boat.
Let me draw you a fucking picture!

Thats a GREAT idea BEN!! Thanks.... and I have those nut plates on the front of my bumper.. I bet I could make something easy for that..!!! great idea!!!!!

So.. spent most of yesterday cleaning and coming up with a plan... The wiring is all dry rotted and cracked... I think I will just fashion up a new harness.... Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink I was able to get the engine controls all fixed up and free'ed up... =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Can't wait to launch this baby! Motor looks to me like it will run... it's all real nice and clean.....

Been stripping out the crud..... getting down to the good part... not there yet, but damn close. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> I noticed with my wiring.. that it must have been a generic setup that fits any boat, wiring was sooo much too long.. I could cut it back and just redo the ends.. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ Nothing in the dash matched the holes needed for the electric start.. :-k :-k :-k :-k this must have been something someone bought down the line..

I found a regestry of these which lead me to the serial number... =D> =D> =D> it's a Viking 750 Deluxe =D>

I need to put a face on the holey dash!!! Maybe some birch?? :-k :-k :-k :-k

This is a classic boat. Use Teak or Koa wood. \:D/

I don't think you can even buy teak anymore, something about it being unsustainable rain forrest harvest.

Teak can be had, fosho. Okay, I've watched "SuperBad" one time too many. Teak is rough on cutting tools, secondary to the imbedded silica, but who cares? I may have a donor slice in my woodpile. Have you the approximate dimensions?
