Now I see why Jones was toying with not ever posting to the forums and shutting it down a few weeks ago. Smile Smile Smile :-# :-# :-# :-& :-& :-&

Kidding...this thing looks like it's going to be a pretty tough beast.

OK. Dumb question. Went to the Boxeer link. Looking at the Subaru diesel. What are the harnesses going to what looks like plug wires where spark plugs would be on a gas engine? Glow plugs?

I know next to nothing about EE20 diesel subaru. I would assume its a common rail injection type system. I shouldn't have to mess with any of that. Plug and play.

Wowza! $9000.00 for ECU and engine. VW TDI package is $8675.00. Wonder what the power and torque differences are?

Hell has officially frozen over!

Seems that really big tires and a diesel = leave the gearing alone..?

She reminds me of a woman we have at work that apparently has a restraining order on everyone at the plant. So far I am the only supervisor she hasn't had an issue with. She has many voices in her head, all giving advice at the same time I think.

Man this diesel swap is gonna be cool!! Seems like a lot more work than a 2.2 or 2.5 swap, but it's nuts and bolts!!!

I've been ordering parts. The most impressive transaxle is about to be built by AA Transaxle in Washington.

5.43 r&P 1.14 third and .77 fourth.
Limited slip differentials with lockers.
Syncro decoupler.
Heavy duty aluminum case and gear carrier housing.
