That's some sweet work right there with the lower front door hinge.

Taking the time to bead-roll that strengthening rib into the patch panel;
Even though it will be completely hidden by the door skin..

1% of shops would ever take it to that level.

Thank you it's just the way we like to do it. Try and keep it original as we can. And it's fun!

John is not posting lately. He thinks the website is not important to the guys paying the bills.

Maybe it is, maybe its not. I don't know how you could judge one way or the other. I do know that it costs a bunch of money to keep going every month. We have a lot of pictures and forum pages to host.

Maybe clean it up, streamline things. Delete 75% of the pictures, and old forum stuff.

Kill the website, use instagram and facebook(like eveyone else)? Nah.

I do get where John is coming from, Its like our own little friend club here. This website does not directly make any money. I think John gets tired of posting just to hear himself talk.

To me, its a portfolio of our work. I like that aspect. But I think the same thing could be accomplished in a much simpler fashion.

You'll likely get a bunch of comments on that topic, but my $0.02...

I only spent a handful of weeks in the Thursday club, but the site and contributors were VERY helpful to me. I had it in my head my car needed to stay five-wide, upgraded to 12v, body work done, etc...hearing alternative ideas helped me end up with the car I really, really like.

For me, it's a site I can keep in touch with friends. See what they're up to. I guess if the site went away, I'd live. Frown But I could definitely see the streamlining of business costs when John is scaling back. I'll just have to make more trips to Colorado like the old days when I was up two, three times a year. Wink
Let me draw you a fucking picture!

I think we can all agree that the site has been effective, and a lot of fun. I have many many friends(and enemies Smile) because of it.

Not really looking for everyone to weigh in on the subject. Just letting you all know whats up with John Jones.
