Postby andym » Sun Feb 19, 2017 3:54 pm

Subaru take over here!!!!

I didn't do this swap, making some changes for the owner. Custom intake to fit under the deck, new coolant lines. Fucking car is awesome it's nice!!!

The owner posts up on here every now and then, let's see if he sees this!

Either way I know JJ loves seeing Subaru on his forums!! :-# :-# \:D/ \:D/ :^o :^o

The Kennedy adapter is only for a manual trans as far as I know. But one with some time and energy could figure that out I'm sure

^^^I think a Subaru flex plate re-drilled for the VW converter would be super simple.

Nothing, it's cut off. I need to find a replacement. Its cut and put it back in to fill the hole.

Ive been balls deep in the fastback, intake off and cut down, then took it to my mill to get it flat. Traced the intake ports on a piece of aluminum, hole saw then alumin burr. Fit over the intake stack, then weld on the inside. No outside welding around the stack, that's a bitch! I'll cut a piece of 2 3/4" round, so it's a "n" shape and weld the bottom to the flat. You'll see..

Oh yeah, another one showed up for wiring and exhaust. Split bus!

I look at this pic and keep hearing , Welcome to The Swap House!
Looks like you have figured out how to make Water Cool in some old VW's.
