Subi Thunder- the perfect daily driver

Postby 63single » Thu Oct 20, 2016 6:26 pm

Ok, so here is my next toy, a 70 bug that was named by my buddy Josh. "Blue Thunder". He said it as a joke and we all laughed, but the name stuck.....so here's the plan, just so JJ can throw some stone, it's definately gonna get some subi love! Disc brakes in the front for sure, and type 3 drum or maybe disc in the back. Dropped spindles and maybe leveled out in the back. The tranny is gonna be a 3.88 with an .82 4th. The whole idea here is gonna be road trip comfort.....keep the rpm's low and the suspension function in tact. Sway bars front and rear for stability.....form is definately gonna follow function on this car.

No worries here man, i can take a ribbing for sure, ask Andy, lol. Subi thunder is more for JJ's benefit. That way everytime he looks at the thread he's reminded about subies! EVERYBODY loves inexpensive power!
