Can any help me with ideas for the steering?

New steering box has same amount of slop at the steering wheel as the old one.. Typical shitty Vw parts....

New tie rod ends
New ball joints
New damper
New steering box

Rack and pinion? Any adjustment on that box? Heavy duty dampener.

Edit: How about some weight up front? Subi engine is heavier than VW, and the fuel cell is in back Right? I don't think the front is heavy enough to track.
Let me draw you a fucking picture!

Andy did you replace the steering coupler?
I had a new round one that was flexing and causing a sloppy steering feel and wandering when coming out of a turn.
I used another new coupler that was kinda square and smaller, it helped a lot.
This one. http://www.wolfsburgwest.com/cart/Detai ... =111415417

Also with everything new and tight it just made the round coupler flex more than if having old suspension parts.

I was thinking more weight might help.

Good idea Tim, that's the one thing I didn't change!

Zach, I'm going to stuff some in it to try.

Or a skid plate to keep air under the car too?

i think it is the weight, your tires are not making full contact

x2 We had a rail buggy that had light steering my dad took a piece of round bar and made a 40-50 lb front bumper. helped a lot.
Andy is your rear wing also making downforce? I would assume that could add to the problem also.
