1963 Anthricite project

Postby sixfootdan » Thu Jul 28, 2016 6:09 pm

"Picked up this shell yesterday. Needs pans and at least one A pillar to rocker repair and maybe even rockers. It looks like its wearing its original paint. I have too many projects as it is so don't hold your breath waiting for updates. [-X The deal is I get the Bug for an undisclosed amount that starts with 0. I have to pull the beam and trans for the previous owner. He has stripped most everything else already. I'm taking my '63 volksrod and it will be the organ donor for this Bug, The plans are a 5" beam which I started on a previous Bug and a trans raise from the volksrod with a 1600 motor I already have. Once it is roadworthy and slammed, I will wax the F#&c out of it and drive it. Enjoy the Journey ](*,)

Here it is hooking it up for the short journey home 5-6 miles.
