Your bus drives great Jesse. I did notice it took a bunch of pedal pumping to get it started this morning. I probably could adjust the accelerator pump to squirt more gas. That would help.

Ya it's a little hard to start in the cold. Thanks for test driving it. Drive it some more and keep your good eye on the tranny to see if I fixed that leak. The roads is too shitty to test drive it around aspen. Brrr it's was cold this mornin.

Ok so the rack is 5' wide and 5'6" long. I wanna cut it down width to like 4'6" then I need to make a few brackets I have a few just need a few more. It's kinda last minute but I wanted to take my bikes to havasu so I need a better rack. If I come down on Friday or Saturday sunday maybe I can get it going with some brains from u guys I can cut and try to weld. If I am too late that's cool to.

Here's a pic of the brackets I have the one with th bolt welded to it just need the other curved flat piece. I made it out of cardboard as good as I could. Was going to try and get a friend to make them for me but it might be to much for him.

Yo Jesse I'm sure we can do something. It sounds like an all day project. How much help are you going to need? Maybe do what you can on your own this weekend(cut/bend/drill/prep). Then I can help fab/weld on Monday.

I think I could cut it pretty easy with a Palma cutter. Then cut the brakets out drill holes. I am not sure how to bend it. Just hear it up I guess and beat on it. I need a good number to cut the rack to. U think 4'6" is good I wanna to look good cause right now it's 5'. U want to bring it down on Saturday around 10:00

One problem is it won't fit in my truck. This sucks it's too wide. Maybe I try and cut in in half at my house. I am a surgeon with a sawzall. But I can't put it back together to well

Is that rack aluminum? I don't want to mess with aluminum fab.

You want to narrow the rack 4 inches? I wouldn't cut until we know for sure it needs to be.

No it's steel rack. I am going to try to strap it to the roof of the wife's 4runner. I can do it.
