This might be where I lose a lot of you. I know this won't be everyones cup of tea, but this is what I do, and I love it.
With a little help from my fiancee, we got the roof all sanded back, and fixed a couple small dents.

Primer down

After blocking that back, sown went silver basecoat and a heapin' helpin' of silver metalflake.

Then for the fun part. Starting to tape off the top ready for some candy goodness.

I might leave it there for today, and post some more tomorrow..... \:D/

It is never too late to give up.
And to start all over with old experiences as a basis.

Started off with some teal Louis Cubes in the centre. I love doing these, as they have so much depth. Almost 3 dimensional.

Then Mandarin lace over a Sunrise Yellow

Next I started on the mexican blanket pattern, red to orange to gold.

Some freak drops using all the left over candy I had. These are also real fun to do.

A little green stripe, and cola brown border.

Cleared

And 'el notcho' is done.

Fuck me that's incredible! I can't imagine planning all of that out, much less actually doing it.

That would look sweet on the roof of my bay winder. I don't want to mess with the rest of the OG paint. But the roof would be sweet. That takes skills for sure. Super bitchin.
