Thanks guys, the color was just one that I picked out of the chart at the paint shop, paint is single stage enamel(tractor paint :-# ) Wink
I chose it because the old paint would look orangy sometimes and I didn't want that in this paint, it's a nice deep red, a little like ruby red.

this car has been a favorite custom of mine, but I've always wanted mine a color like this.

this is the target.

thanks photoshop.

bit more progress.

body on wooden stand.

doors bogged and primed.

enders bogged and primed

took a lot of work, many late nights, all day Sunday and half of Monday.
A little tip, don't try welding 6 fenders together to make two, so much work to make them look good :x
Still heaps to go!

life looks like this now.

time to finish up the shell and get those valance's done!

Auckland is a good place to live, traffic can be shit like most large cities, public transports is pretty average.
I live and work in West Auckland so have the best of both worlds, 15-20mins to the city, and 25 mins the other way takes you here-

July huh? should be just in time to help me finish the bug! Wink
