Awesome!

Thanks KCW crew!!

I really needed some good news. We were headed to school today and the Datsun decided not to shift. I was a stop sign at the end of the street. It would not go into 1st or 2nd. ](*,) It started getting tight driving home from soccer last night. :-k It would grind into reverse so I backed up the street and back into the driveway.
We jumped on the bike.

I am excited to get a spring plate and start on the bus but I need daily TRANSPORTAION.
I might have to bail on this truck.

Good news!

The Datsun clutch slave cylinder was out of fluid.
Filled, pumped and shifting now!

The City is bad here about "tagging" unregistered cars for removal.

So I wrapped up the bus in a huge tarp. I really don't want to deal with that mess. I don't have anywhere else to move it. (not that it can roll anyway)

Hey Matt... sorry about those broken bolts.. :-" ... How about we build a small dolly that bolts to the frame horns so it can roll around. If you're going to keep it on soft ground you will need to get tires with air, as opposed to the hard ones. Let me know.

mmmmmm....
a dolly :-k :-k :-k :-k

I am not sure what to do. I was thinking narrow the torsion housing. if the bolts are broken off in it that might help to get them out if the end casting is off.

I am still not sure what direction to go. Stock rgb, narrowed swing, offset plates, or bug IRS. :-k :-k

Bug IRS trans are so easy to come by. Way easier to hit the trans lottery if you have more chances to play.

offset plates with swing axel I could go back stock if I wanted to. :-k :-k

ohh... the 10mm bolts going through the cover are broke? Those aren't too bad... You'll probably have that rocker out of your way at some point, it will make it easy enough to get them out.. I suggest you leave your torsion housing stock. if you want Irs, buy a kit.. save your dough and buy the right stuff.. Wink But... I would NOT even think about that kind of stuff at the moment.. You need to make it solid first thing. Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile if you need to move it. Hire a tow truck flat bed guy to move it for ya...

You need some metal...

Yeah, Matt is back in a bus. Glad to see that transition.
