What ? I'm old. At this rate I may not be around to hear the whole story !
Someone recently told me to "act my age" Screw them ! I'm having too much fun to act that old !
We were only there maybe 5-10 minutes and then a cop car rolls up with his lights on. That's when my wife took the pic from the back seat.
Ya gotta understand crime has gotten out of control here. The Elementary school where I work was on lock down 2 times that week because of nearby gunfire. Gang problems. Getting way out of hand.
The Cops were very quick to intercept us this day in an OLD VW. Gunshots, not so much.
He ran my license and when he agve it back he said he was not going to give me a ticket but he could if he wanted to because I was blocking the road way.
Please examine this PIC
Blocking the roadway??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
.... on a cul-DUH -SACK
.... with no houses in sight.......
when he said this-
My wife just started laughing.
As the cops were pulling up I gave her a shake and could not hear any gas sloshing.
I was 97% sure it was just out of Gas.
I assumed Partner X had not send me on a joy ride mission, in a vehicle, with no gas.
And I assumed that the gas gauge did not work.
We assured the officer that we had already called for a ride and we were going to get some gas.
If that was not the problem I told him I could tow it back to the garage.
They finally pulled off to the end of the neighborhood and set up a stake out to see if we returned.
My wife's aunt came and got us. She is a big VW fan so she didn't care at all.
We went and got my gas can and filled it up with $11 of gas.
There we are........... blocking traffic on the roadway.
It started back up and I dove it back to the garage.
I put it back in its spot and messaged Partner X
He said he wasn't freaking out but I know he was.....
Later he asked for me to send him a picture of it......In the garage.......

Yeah its soooo good. It was a year ago because I recently saw a pic of the Carne Asada fries in my year ago facebook thing.
Man the truck died again on me this morning
At least it was just at the house and not on the side of some cold road on a junk mission.
