I don't even know its there, but I know it'll do its job when required. My trans is pretty bullet proof.

Yeah I was there. Where were you jokers??! Wink Front and center next to Justin Marino's bagged notch with nice white paint. Was pretty cool to show two completely different styles side by side. The weather was great, but turnout was about half of the Memorial Day crowd/cars/swappers.

I was actually supposed to be there (planned on riding up with Tom in his black vert) but slept through my alarm and he was gone by the time I woke up (he rolled out at 4:45). I just didn't feel like driving the Honda up.

So I stayed home and wrenched the whole day. Laid a bunch of sound deadener in the bug and tied up some more loose ends.

I heard the weather was nice.

Thanks Aaron! Yeah straight cut gears in a street car are always a give away that something nice lurks underneath! Love that sound! I need to take you for a spin in it some time.

Here's the link for the ISP West fog light bar you were asking about.

I agree Franz. I don't think the Quaife in my car will ever really reach its full potential. Off road, it would pull like a mofo through a tight corner under acceleration where one tire is spinning faster than the other, but with the Quaife giving equal power to each wheel.

Maybe I should recreate this video----> The Quaife Test 8-[

Took the notch out to the track the other day. Had a great time. I'd never driven down the track so the whole day was a learning experience for me. Made four passes with the best pass being 14.9 @ 89mph. It'll do better, but I'm not trying to seat any records here.... :-"
I was pitting with Ken Porter.. he's the guy that built my trans. He was shaking down his recent rebuild of his race car and a new little 1915 race motor. He ran a best 12.6 @ 104mph.

The video is of my very first pass. I definitely short shifted every gear, and it was the worst pass of the day. Cool vid though.
