Hung out with Andy, Aron and Bret yesterday at the Madera Spring Fling VW show. I joined the caravan that started in Sacramento at 4am and met up with those jokers a couple hours later. Pretty cool to have about 75 VWs caravanning for over 100 miles.... that doesnt happen very often! I was surprised at how nice the venue was at the Madera Co fairgrounds. Grass parking, shade trees, nice restrooms, good food and TONS of cool VWs! The guys from CB Performance liked my engine enough to hand over the Best Engine plaque. After the show cruising back with Andy having fun flying past some "slower" bugs, had some In-n-Out burgers and got back on the road. That's when Andy's car had a little mishap. I'll leave it up to Andy to update his thread with what happened.... All in all, another great VW weekend!

Was this your first time going to Madera Justin? Yeah, its a chill show.

Congrats on the engine award. Like I said on IG last night, well deserved. Your notch and Andy's square had crowds around them all day. It was impressive.
