If that stuff works like the Subaru shit, you'll be in heaven man. Fuel injection and coil packs are the shit. Distributors and carbs can suck my dong.

I agree with you Andy. I hope it runs super well. Looking forward to not having to deal with adjusting points or unclogging jets anymore.

For the most part, get the tune right and dont touch it outside of oil changes/valve adjustments.

Don't get me wrong, I've clogged a few injectors..but I wasn't using a fuel filter or a totally clean system like you have.

Glad you like it. They are the bees knees. I had one on my T4 motor and after the day I set it up, never had to dick with it again. They cost more than the hexbar setups, but being simple and super easy to adjust was worth it in my book. The sheathing and cables are basically the same kinda stuff you see on motorcycle/road bike linkages/shifters.

Didn't get the wiring finished yesterday, but I am about 75% done on the ECU plate. Then its just a matter of dropping the plate onto its mounting studs on the pan and connecting the wires from the harness to the terminal strips. Making progress.

But I have to agree with Andy, yesterday was probably one of the nicest days to work in the garage so far this year. Mid 70's with a breeze for half of the day. I was loving it. Spent a good 14 hours wrenching yesterday. Wish the weather was like that everyday....

So time for an update. Being that wiring is not my specialty and I basically was creating this ECU mount/wiring setup from scratch, it took me a little bit longer to finish that anticipated. My goal was to make the wiring look as clean as possible and avoid looking like a rats nest. Considering there are 80 wires going into those terminal strips not including all the power/grounding wires from the fuses....I think it looks alright.

So designed the plate with additional holes in it to route a good amount of the wires underneath the plate (all wires for the relays and fuses exit out the bottom instead of out the sides of the box).

Wiring the Relays/Fuses

As of last night:

So the goal is to have the plate installed on the drivers side pan tonight (opposite of the battery) and start wiring the motor harness into this. Getting closer!
