I'm sure this thread drives 99% of you nuts. "Stop post about late model bugs, nobody cares"

Both supers are mine, arans in the middle. all subi bound!

Will the next one have a turbo and an intercooler?

I built my own rear truss bar, they are way too dam expensive for 3 pieces of rod and 6 joints!
The shop I work at has part of an old nascar car building shop, so there are a lot of pieces and parts that they used. I just bought the rods, the heim joints, and tabs, welded them to a piece of steel and done! My car was a little different than a normal bug rear end because the coil overs.

The top mount is using the top shock mount hole, the lower mount I just welded the tab to the solid mount.

Results, best bang for the buck!! Zero wheel hop, just go! It really is amazing how flimsy the shock towers and trans horns are.

It goes from trans mount to shock tower, across to the other shock tower to trans mount.

Time to work on the green subi super today.

I made a dual adjustment heim rod to replace the stock Subaru alternator/power steering bracket. Factory it held the power steering and altnator. Not going show car status on it but it looks better than stock.

I'm finally going to pull out my rear torsion bars, I have full coil overs, with my truss bar, With 2 bars left to add. But I need to come up with a spring plate/torsion cap replacement. The current ones on the market have a single adjustment point, but you still need to remove the cover or axle plate to adjust rear toe in. I'm going to make my own with dual adjustment. Kinda like a tie rod. Left and right threads on my heim joints. This is what I'm starting with. I need to do some mock up with Baja Barney that's in my back yard. I'll keep updates with this process.
