I forgot about the super tank. Yeah that's a completely different animal. So no room under the tank?

For me I'm going that route to do a simple return system and with the small benefit of the surge tank when tanking hard corners. I don't need one of those crazy surge tanks that you see in these drift cars. Something like 1/2 gallon with twin pumps submerged to prevent fuel starvation. That's nuts. Hahaha.

We'll knock yours out soon, maybe I'll take some of your ideas for my project.

Not a bad idea, cut the top off, stick some baffling inside it and weld it shut. I like that, cheap and easy to do.

Any ideas of a baffle material? Make a windage tray/ hinged trap doors? Or foam? Isn't that what they do in nascar? Foam to slow the slosh down?

The cell in my track car is full of foam and still was getting starvation issues with a little over a gallon left.

Holley just came out with their new "hydramat". I put one of them in the car, and it sucks that fucker dry now!

That's badass!! I want one! So how do you install that in a Vw tank? It looks like they all have an fittings on the ends.

Post up some pictures of your car.

It's my daily driver man! On and freeway and off. Daily anywhere I want to go, just like a moderen car. I drive it like an asshole 75% of the time, 25% just normal. I bet I have 12,000 miles, maybe more on it. I use it. I have a newer Chevy truck, the square and the girlfriend's 2013 gmc.. And my daily is this little gem. I love it.

Got a couple suspension mods I'm going to work on today, and then drive it to a vw dealership get together tonight in Elk Grove, I'd guess 100 miles or so. Just gas and go.

"Just gas and go......" That about sums it up.....not a VW anymore if you don't have to work on it more than you drive it eh? Hahaha

Another 100 miles down lastnight.

I really need to figure out the gas situation. At about 1/4 tank it starts getting that too hot from the radiator. Maybe I'll just buy a fuel cell and be done.

Hell with it today...time to go look at another super

You know that thing that radiates heat out of the back of your bus. Believe it's one of those :-"

Damn right it is!

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to put one in a Vw tank and adapt your fuel lines for AN. I just made a spring loaded piece that pins it to the bottom of the cell and keeps it in place.
