Found the 51 standard chassis in Philly and the 51 standard body in Colorado. Not matching numbers but pretty close not to worried it still will be a sick build. And my very first complete 100% restro. I will post all the progress on here. Because you guys keep a playa on their toes and keep me inspired. Thanks. [/img]

I dont think this has ever been separated! Because it was a bitch to do without smashing the shit out of it.

And this OG still works.

OG pans but to weak to make it. So my kids made the marks and then I removed them.

I love it, I think this is the 4th split window beetle being built on this forum at this time - 1 Marks split being built at KCW, 2 Rustys split being body worked and painted by Corey, 3 the early split being built by 65 deluxe, and the 4 is yours, that's awesome. Also forgot about KCW foreman and shop supervisor Rusty's split that is wanting to be worked on . I think it's great that there is 4 early beetles being built at one time on one forum. Keep us posted on the progress

Just to help with the confusion, Bill is his name and "Ridinrusty" is his screen name. Don't want Rusty to get too excited and think I'm back out in Colorado workin' on his Split. Smile
