Without the stock intake, and the coolant cross over turned, it takes a lot of the ugly away from the Subi motor. I like it! The intake air filter is genius Andy. Should be very cool air temps with that design.

You got the front radiator grill done yet?
Let me draw you a fucking picture!

The intake filter situation is the business! Great idea.

Nice! I'm glad you painted the apron to match. Looks great! You'll never see those vents when standing next to the car. Super stealth. =D>

Thanks dudes! I've been up later and up ealier so I can work on my junk. I've been killing it on the fastback lately. Ordering some parts for it so I can work on my junk a hair more.
This radiator shroud was kicking my ass, finally I made it my bitch. Here's version 1.0, 2.0 will look the same just cleaner. Super happy with the look. I'll paint it and be done!

It's against the front apron all around it, so any air going in the front has to pass through the radiator.

Who else had a kick ass weekend? I did!!! =D> =D> Smile
Fully welded, Body work and painted apron area. Radiator in, shroud in, water in! \:D/ \:D/ Smile

I used some new filler, it was $30 a gallon, not the $90 a gallon stuff but it was smooth and sanded really nice, didn't clog the paper up. Local body shop supply place recommended it, I like it! Used the DA sander on it all, edged it by hand real quick.

It's not perfect but I'm happy. Some tweaking this week on it and I'm done!

Damn. I enjoyed checking out all the shrouding peices this weekend, but didn't imagine it was gonna look at that clean when all said and done. That looks killer!
