Yeah! This little car did awesome on the road. The rear tires rubbed on every bump, down shift, and acceleration. I probably should have choose 205/65 tires for better clearance....but those fat 205/70 look so cool. Stoked to have a sweet daily again. I drove my son to school this morning.

I'm not sure how much adjustment the front suspension has with a single adjuster. Maybe 2"? The rear has re-drilled/modified 4 lug drums with 3/4" wheel spacers and long studs. The original drum brakes are better than disc brakes for body clearance and e-brake function.

This car looks so bad ass from every angle, especially on the road loaded down with camping gear and bikes. And smoke pouring out from the tires Smile

I like this setup for those reasons. A good e-brake is a good thing! What dual-circuit M/C would be good for that setup?

Yeah! The look is what I was going for. I could raise the rear suspension to fix the rubbing...but that will ruin the look. I'll deal with it for now. Next chance, I should probably go down to 205/65 tires.

I keep thinking about buying my kid and myself dirt bikes. Maybe later this summer the sale of this bug can help facilitate that.

Daily driver status. Our DMV has like a 2 hour wait to register/get license plates. I've tried to go a couple times..but keep thinking why should I be so inconvenienced for something I can do without. I am my own king. It drives just fine without Colorado plates. :-$
