Is this bus at stock height with just taller tires it looks lifted but maybe it's because I'm used to seeing slammed buses at KCW

I wanted to share some pictures of the modifications that have been done to this bus for off roading. You may have noticed cut-off rear body corners, and the small nut reduction boxes. Lin prefers the gear ratio of the 59-63 gear boxes for climbing. He also like the 14" wheels in the rear for better ratios(though we went with 15" wheels and matching tires on the mechanical resto).

The gauge/filler/release on the dash for the air shocks on the front. A bicycle tire pump is kept under the rear seat.

Clutch pedal shaft drilled for a grease zerk.

Shift rod bushing is a piece of plastic pipe hose clamped to the shift rod.

Air filter is heavy duty and has a inlet that is plumbed to the roof for cleaner air.

Passenger side tail light bulb holder has been relocated. Probably due to the battery bouncing into it.

I'm sure there are more that I don't know about.

Its looking really good. Ragtop, lights, and a detail job. The airshocks should be here today. Thats the last item.

We decided against the rear bumper after holding it up to the bus with the lack of rear corners to mount it to. It looked like it was floating, and surely to get twisted on the first rock.

Peet then modified the exhaust tail pipe to be more clearance friendly. AKA cut-off.
