I am trying my best to talk Camping Box.. Greg and Clara, to do all the westy stuff.. Everything westy did when the bus got there minus the exterior paint and body and cutting a hole in the roof...

So I hope they do all that hand painting... [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o<
if you keep going in circles.. Your never gonna get anywhere :-k :-k :-k :-k :-k :-k :-k :-k

I've been doing finish work on this bus for a week or so. Its pretty much there now. I have a small pile of parts that need to be painted and installed. Thats it, we can call it done for this portion of the build. The next stop is with Greg and Clara for the Westfalia interior build.

I found some nice parts in our stash. Early sun visor, and steel case Bosch horn.

12volt batter cover from WW/BBT looks nice.

Bad news on the spare. The 215/75/R15 BFG tire is too big to fit behind the front seat back correctly.(The seat back will not sit against the stops) Do you want to switch to a smaller tire for the spare?

How about the pin stripe situation? Does it get a single stripe above or below. Or both?

I think the feedback from Greg was no pinstripe....

i'm with ya on that... My spare has been on my roof since I put it there.. and never been down.... I think I am less likely to get tire problems now that I don't run rubber bands on my rims.. and camber like a mofo ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X

I assembled and installed the cast iron distributor today. Looks much mo better. Also repaired and installed the OG glass brake light from DannyZ. We are almost ready for transport. Repair the cargo door mech that rattles, acid etch glass logos, give it a good detail job, and any paint issues.
