Well you guys have been wondering about another type 1 build.. well it showed up last week.... Just doing metal, body and paint! Owner is handling the rest.... Owner tore down and dropped off that way.. so we hung some parts and started stripping... \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ Nice having your own blast booth.. I tell you what.. it's damn nice!!! Wink Wink Wink

Is this a quickie minimal rust repair car or is there a lot to fix?

Cut fender nuts from donor. Replaced 2 of these today.

I'm very excited to watch this build. However, you are killing me John. Knowing this is a 63 is making me really want to find some funds and drag my 63 Rag down to you guys. I've got some fenders that need lovin' just like this one along with some mild rust work. Super excited to see a type 1 get some work!

JJ finished metal working rear fenders and has moved onto fronts... =D> =D>

Working on pass rear bumper mount area. Butthole removed, patch bent up and burned in. Fitting bumper mount now.

fenders are ready to be bolted back on.. pics suck ass.... I mostly welded up cracks, rips, rust repair, missing stuff etc.. hammered close enough to put on car and finish up..
