Got a lot done today...hooked up misc parts that were left over in the boxes. Added exterior chrome trim naughty bits.
Finished running boards. Front bumper. Passenger door windows. The only exterior stuff left is the rear deck and bumper.

Waiting on the replacement headlight switch to finalize wiring.

Been gone a couple weeks on a motorcycle trip...5600 miler..got back Thursday.

Pretty much finished everything up. Completed headliner before I left. Finished carpet and interior Friday, installed window glass on Saturday, misc stuff on Sunday.

Franz--its been around the block a few times is all. Am having trouble getting it to idle correctly.

Not sure if its a worn out carb or a something else. Cleaned out the carb again and it starts and runs but just can't seem to get the idle speed to cooperated.

Has a SOLEX 30/31PICT carb from Brasil and a Bosch009 HEI distributor. So no vacuum advance. Ideas? :-k :-k :-k

Dare I say it but your problems could be right there, put a stock distributor on and try to find an original carb. Pretty sure 009s were a 90s thing that dont work!! Franz will put you right I'm sure. \:D/
