Pat/Dan's deluxe 9 seat bay

Postby Franz » Tue Feb 24, 2015 9:04 am

I'll let Pat fill you guys in on the history. Its a super-complete, original paint deluxe, with a full bench front seat. The bad; It has some rusty wheel wells from being driven on salt/snow. OG mountain bus! The good; Pat is a rusty repair and metal fab wiz.

Nice bay. Looks sick slammed out. I love my bay camper. Bays are hitting hard campers and slammed bays with big motors are hot can't wait to see it on the road!!

Looks like a race ! \:D/ You doing pretty much a full restoration #-o and me taking the lump I picked up last summer (after it had been parked for many years) and getting it running and dealing with the seats so that I can drive for more than a short time without cramping up. ](*,) Think I may already be behind though. :-# Smile

Motor needs a good cleaning before tear down, Ill take care of that this evening...so, I tore down rear backing plates this morning.

Parts washed them, started to glass bead blast, ran out of media... ](*,) ](*,) ...One small rusty spot...all fixed.
