#-o #-o Funny you ask, no Shrek sightings, and no other KCW posters or lurkers!! It was a great day, sunny, tons of cars, hanging with friends and family, cold beer Smile.

I was there right when the gates opened but was only there for a short time. Have been battling some hip issues that makes walking very painful as of late so I hobbled my ass back to the truck and drove home. Was hoping to see the bus and meet Jered. There is another show coming up in a few weeks in Springfield, Oregon. Maybe we can meet there.

Ahhhh ya that's the way of the future.....to approach someone at a car show and talk one on one? Man that sounds scary! I mean it's all fine and dandy to sit behind your electronic device and talk to people but socialize IN PERSON?? That's just crazy talk man......nobody does that anymore ](*,)
I heard stats on the radio this morning the average American spends 3 hours texting/emailing and facebooking every day!!!!!! You americans [-X canadians are nowhere near that hahahahah. Whatever did we do before all this technology? Wait I know....we talked to each other face to face! This age of faceless chickenshit is out of hand!!!

That's my soapbox rant for the day Wink can't wait for lots of new faces to come up and bullshit with me when they see my car at a show :-s

Hey JB, funny you saying that.
I have just been 10 days on the Gold Coast in Queensland, where I met up with Alan [Dasdubber on here].
So,here's me ,who can just about touch the Indian Ocean on the west coast, chatting with Alan within sniffing distance of the Pacific on the east coast.Small, small world.
Alan and crew build some amazing vehicles at Das Resto Haus.
Enjoy your 'new' bus Jered...another fantastic KCW build.

Jered I gotta tell you, the first time I set my retrosound stereo up, I was really hoping I'd never have to disconnect my battery ever again to have to redo it. Now after 5 or 6 times, I can set the clock and all the other settings in about a minute. You'll be a pro in no time man!

I have a 9 volt battery wired to an old cell phone charger/ciggy adapter cord that I use just for this purpose. Creates just enough back feed to the radio so don't lose all settings.......remembering to plug it in before pulling the battery is another story #-o

Same situation, but I just bought one of those solar battery charger units at Harbour Freight for something like $9 or so. Plug it into the cig lighter and throw it on the dash...doesn't take a whole lot of light to maintain radio memory.
911 operator: What is your emergency ? Me: Some asshole just pulled out in front of me & totaled my car! 911: Are you injured? Me: No. 911: Is the other driver injured ? Me: Not yet....but you should probably send an ambulance.
