67' Moose Bus

Postby Pat K » Thu Nov 14, 2013 5:42 am

Good morning Pattersons. Nice to meet you both last week.... We rolled your scarred beauty into the shop last night and looked
her over, super clean super straight bus....she's a bit wrinkled up front but I think we can handle that.........from what I understand
we are doing accident repair and a few other things. Post up and let everyone in on the story and future of this beauty.

Al and I are starting tear down now.

Lets clear this up right now, Rusty didn't hit an elk. He was banging a fat chick against the front of his single cab. Don't be ashamed bro, fat chicks need love to. Anyways I got the nose dissected before 9am, you can tell I learned from the best. Smile

WOW, if that was my bus you would be changing out the passenger seat also from the brown stains when that moose connected with the window [-(

Hell from the quality of work you guys do it would probaly be just as easy to fix the dented shit.

Exactly what I was thinking....

We have removed most of the bad so we can start straightening out the a-pillar on pass side. Plan on removing
the outer skin about two inches above body line on both a-pillars and center pillar then graft the in new section.

Going to remove most of this inner support from pass side a-pillar almost over to center of nose.

Found some bad spots that we should repair while we are tearing into this beauty. Stop the cancer now!!!

Wiper mech looks to be in good shape. Just needs a new shaft for the pass side.

Parcel tray needs a bit of work.

I've been beat that nose skin like a red headed step child, with good results. Just took a hammer, pile of sand, and an English wheel to get her back into shape.
