Congratulations Erik. Driving plans in the near future? Has Norway thawed from winter?

Franz, Friday was 10 degrees (50F) and poring rain. Still have not got my wipers adjusted properly to take the water off the windscreen.

Rusty, here are some more! 6:50 AM in the morning, at the petrol station across from the technical control station:

No driving this weekend. We are at our summer house, checking out the progress on our new boat house + pier/dock. Needs to be ready for John and Gretchen´s stay!

I see nobody commented on this picture.....thats a bad ass lift. I gotta get me one of those!

Can't store a car underneath it like a typical 2/4 post, but I dig how when lowered down, its all at floor level. Never seen one like that.

What do you do with 365 used rubbers? Make a tire and call it a Good Year.

Franz, Its growing on me!
Need to work out a few things. I think i know why i do not find my 1st and 2nd gear:

Is not this plate supposed to be turned the other way, with the ridge up to the right like in a VW?
Image

The gear lever is fixed with a bolt going through it, securing it to the gear rod going back through the tunnel. So my support question: How do i disconnect this? I guess i have to disconnect the rod at the back also, to be able to get the necessary play I need at the front to lift it up and unscrew it?

Sorry about that. 8-[

You should be able to un-bolt the entire shifter floor to raise the shifter and shift rod up. Then you can disconnect the shift rod from the shifter.
