Rusty's thing

Postby Franz » Mon Oct 17, 2011 6:31 pm

Rusty has a thing that he drives around Telluride durring the winter. I think its one of his favorite cars. Its beat-down and tired, and in need of some serious lovin'. Because hes such good freinds with John Jones, and always has John's best interests in mind...He decided that John needed to entirely rebuild his thing over this coming weekend Smile John is soooo lucky! ](*,)

The rebuilt 1600cc showed-up on Friday...We had Painter's Grinding in Denver rebuild the stock 1600cc. Those guys really take care of us...the prices are great, and the product/turn-around time is killer. If anyone needs any sort of engine work/long block give them a call.

Rusty, once the Jones' mansion is built he is going to have so much time and will be looking for things to do. My suggestion is you get started on The Porsche too and hey dont you have a early (or two) beetles in the yard :-k

Nope, Jones is working on a carb for his Daughters car and I was cleaning engine tin for my Thing. Just stopped to try to post the pics I took before it got dark of your kickass BD. No luck yet, don't worry you will see your baby before we leave.

Great day for the Thing!!! =D> =D> I towed it over to the shop this morning with Blue Thunder and we dug into the brakes. Pulled the drums and had them turned then Jones put in all new lines, cylinders and pads all the way around \:D/ \:D/ Doug grabed the top, brought it home and slammed out a really nice new tinted window and returned it to the shop later in the afternoon. THANKS!!!! I cleaned up some engine stuff and we are going to dig into the new engine build tomorrow!!! Good stuff, only at KCW Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile
