Break even isn't bad at all. Not many people can say that about their hobbies.

The way prices are in Australia right now, I thought it would've brought more $$

Me too. That price is about break even for me after all the expenses since importing and transporting to Australia, so I can't complain. Very, very sad to let that awesome Yoot go but building our new house for our family of five is sucking up all the $$$$ like a Hoover :-({|=

At least I still have my very original, matching numbers 58 Beetle \:D/ if I have to sell that then things are getting desperate! 8-[

I feel your pain mate,
New house is nearly finished, all the toys nearly gone.
Oh well, you gots to do what you gots to do when it comes to family.

yeah... tell me and a whole lotta men about it.... When we built our house behind the shop, I sold every running driving VW I had, and spent every penny I had set aside for a long long time..... it was one of the toughest times in my life... but.. the payoff... it's paid for.. Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink

I am glad to see this truck moving around from owner to owner... and people are not loosing money on it.. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> It's putting smiles on faces worldwide!!!!! \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Hey to all the KCW crew, it's been a while. Hope you guys had a great Christmas and New Years!!!!!
We're all moved in to the new house up here on the Sunshine Coast and loving the place. There's heaps of Splits and Bays up here that I see driving around, which is cool but also highlights the fact that I miss my busses :-({|=

I see that you're using new 'forum' software, well done.

Wishing you guys a prosperous and healthy 2016....... Smile
In Oz we call all VW buses - Kombis....
And I've got the Kombi Madness - there is no known cure!
