The guys at Painters said it's either the O2 sensor on the collector or the cylinder head temp sensor. Either will make it go full rich. Dunno' if that helps but I'm not leaving here until I get the A-OK from you jaybirds.

No luck yet...

The rest of the truck is ready, but this fuel injection is kicking my ass.

Been messing with it all night. Still running rich as hell. Fuel pressure is at 30psi.

Give me a couple hours in the morning and I'll let you know either way. It seems like its has to be something really simple. FUCK!

In an idle conversation I heard that if the computer was near any welding the waves or whatever comes from welding can screw up the whole map program in the control box and it might need to be reprogramed. This could just be an old wives tale though but it sure sounded good.

What type of fuel injection setup is it ? does it have any type of data logger or way to plug into a usb drive to see live stream data like a wave graph ?

If it was a Megasquirt, I'd say the MAP sensor wasn't hooked up(vacuum line from intake) and it thinks you are at wide open throttle.

Ronnie, I always try to keep electronics away from welding....but I suppose something could have happened.

Its redline weber fuel injection. Yes, it does have a data logger....but I don't have a the program to load onto a computer to see it. ](*,) ...there is a chance that my buddy Al does....going to see about that this morning.

Hmmm, I don't have a vaccuum line or map sensor. Just a TPS.

I'll update as things progress....

Oh shit! The ECU has a vacuum port on it. Must have a map sensor inside of it??? Going to hook it up now and see what happens. [-o<

Were Lauffer & VW Paradise of no help? You'd think the builder would just be able to say, connect blue to blue, check this, rub your dick on that etc., etc.

Franz, definitely check with Al! From what I can remember this is the same unit he likes to use on his motors.

Yeah, check with Al! This kind of stuff will cure me of dealing with folks who aren't local to CO.

I talked to Kris yesterday. he was on Vacation...So, I didn't want to bother him too much. He probably assumed that I had everything hooked up right.
