I LOVE this pic!!! What a great TGIF pic!!!!! I don't know if you can tell, but Franz and John switched sizes... Franz said the black one was too short on him....Personally, I would have liked to see the "half shirt" on Franz!!! =D> \:D/ =D> \:D/ =D> \:D/ =D> \:D/ =D> \:D/ =D> \:D/

Awesome! I didn't know which size would fit who, but figured one of each would cover it!

Long day today. Uphill battle the whole way. In the end, I stand as the winner.

This engine is ready to plug in and make some noise! All that is left to do is weld in the O2 sensor bung....I had to order that in, should be here on Monday.

I welded the fan shroud to prevent any fins from breaking free and rattling.

I'm so excited to see this come together! Jill can't make it up this weekend, she's got a work thing on Fri she can't get out of so me and the guys are going to load up the '58 on Thursday AM and head up there.

I'd be interested if that alternator really puts out 90 amps and if so, at what RPM..... :-k

Yeah, I know, here we go again.

When I was having my alternators repaired locally the guy told me there was no way I would ever be able to spin the alternator fast enough to make the amps I wanted at the time (I think 75). He asked if I could get a smaller pulley to spin it faster and I said no, only a smaller crank pulley to spin it slower.

Hence my interest in the (no doubt since it is from Empi who is known for the overwhelming quality in their parts) 90 amp alternator. Smile
