Postby john jones » Sat May 01, 2010 6:58 pm

This is a 60 mango Dan bought from Kevin last year I think.. He has been working on it pretty steady since the snow melted..

He got it on the ground today.. Looks bitchen.. More progress later.. I need to scan a before pic.. but I can imagine you "see it"..

I don't know how to thank John enough, for letting me work on this bus out in the lot. Without the help of KCW I would just have another pile of shit in my yard. Thanks for selling me Project Butthole, Kevin. Thanks for all the parts orders Franz. Thanks to all three of you guys for putting up with me in your way. Thanks for showing me how stuff goes together and how to build the parts that I need.
Im pretty stoked to have this thing this far. I tried all these KCW tricks, like wa la presto and shit. But I guess it all just comes down to getting dirty and turning wrenches. Man its a lot of work to build a bus.

Dans Bus is badass, nobody mentioned it is a walkthru. Have Jones repair and paint match the nose and roll it! You can enjoy it for years before you NEED to repair any other areas.

The bus is looking good Dan. Busses are a lot of work. You're going to have a super-cool early original pant bus.

I have done a whole butt load of nothing on my bus, since taking it home from KCW. Thought I would take it back down to the shop and let the pros do some work on it. I loaded it on the trailer and threw a glovebox door from a notchback on behind it. Hope that someone might want to have John build them a car out of it. Maybe help some with my Thursday habit.
